Flagstaff Trip

Dave works up in Flagstaff or Prescott at least one day a week, so we decided to go up one Sunday when he had to work there Mon. and stay in a hotel and play in the snow. We left Tayte with Grandma Eastman since she wouldn't be very much fun to play in the snow with.
The girls were just so excited to stay in a hotel!

Them with their suitcases and blankets.

As soon as we got in the room they spent about half an hour getting their bed all ready with their blankets and stuff.

And ofcourse one of the funnest things about staying in hotels is their hot tubs, and to go swimming in the middle of winter.

All ready for bed with their little movie so me and Dave could watch TV.

Dave had a meeting Mon. morning so we were just gonna hang out in the hotel till he was done, but then it started snowing outside and the girls couldn't wait. They wanted to go play in the snow! So I got them all bundled up (which took a good 30 min., I could never do that every day). They were SO excited!

The first thing they wanted to do was make snow angles. You can see there wasn't a ton of snow, but enough to play in.

Ty loved eating the snow.

Then Dave got back and we headed up the mountain to see if we could find more snow and a little hill to sled on. It hadn't snowed for awhile and with the warm weather there wasn't any sledding hills open. But we found a little hill that worked.

I love this picture of them going down together and their faces. Mads was scared everytime, but then wanted to keep doing it.

It was a great little trip to the snow.

Love their cute snow outfits . . . so fun that you have snow close enough to experience but not have it around every day!
