5 Weeks Old

Tayte at 5 weeks:
She is doing REALLY good at sleeping and not so good with everything else. I am amazed she is already sleeping through the night! We feed her around 9:30pm then she lays right down without a peep and sleeps all the way until 6:30 or 7am!! What a blessing, she LOVES to sleep and good thing cause when she's awake it's a whole other story. She has acid reflux (poor baby, and poor me:) So when I'm feeding her and the whole time she's awake she is spitting up TONS and all the time. And she's super fussy cause ofcourse that can't be fun and must hurt and burn:( We're trying different formula and some medicine for the burn, but nothings helping yet. Hopefully we can figure out something that helps. At leaste she's sleeping through the night and still takes good naps!

My beautiful baby Tayte- 5 weeks old (she does have some pretty bad baby acne right now, but she is still so dang cute)

My 3 girls

She just graduated from her basinet into her big crib and I think she really likes it:)

I haven't posted any pictures of her cute room yet so here are some pics. (we did this before we added an E to the end of her name, so we will be adding an e on the wall:)

I love this picture i found of 3 girls walking on the beach. (that's gonna be my 3 girls)

A day on the lake AND a first

Nothing like a great day on the lake.
I was feeding Tayte so Dave said he would get the girls ready. I told them their hair need to be combed and braided! This is what he did! Took 2 pieces and twisted them around each other and he thought he was braiding:) I guess not too bad for his very first try. I was impressed he even got the rubber band around so good.

Ty and Brax so excited to go boating.

Brax, Thalia, and Ty, here they go

Dave's been telling Ty he's gonna take her wake boarding, and she has been so nervous about it. Then when it was time to try, she did NOT want to go in the water. So Dave tricks her and says, "ok, just come swimming with me", she loves swimming in the lake, so she was excited to swim with her dad and jumped right in. (poor thing, little did she know)

getting ready to try and get pulled up for the first time, Ty was SOOOOO scared (literally almost threw up).

They tried about 3 times with her facing out and couldn't get up, then they turned her around so she could hold on to Dave and they popped right up.

They rode for pretty long, and after words Ty said it was fun.
Dave is the kind of dad that is not gonna let our kids go through life too afraid to try new things. He's all about making them overcome their fears, and letting them know that they can do ANYTHING they put their mind to.

Ty is a little cold in this pic, but they look so dang cute in their little rash guards.

Hanging out in the shade with Tayte

When they are driving me crazy, I usually will send them out back with an otter pop, but today they got lucky and got a fun dip. This is another difference between Ty and Mads- Ty's face is always clean, Madix's face is always a mess!:)
