SPAM

I forgot to add in Ty's post about her and spam.
So she takes spelling tests this year and as an incentive
to do good we told her if she gets 100% we'll give her a treat.
Then we proceed to ask her, "what treat do you want if
you get 100%?"  and her answer is,
"spam"!  What 6 year old wants spam for her
special treat.... Tyler does!
(ever since she was really little she has liked strange foods:)

(she did get 100% and get her spam:)

TY LATELY

Ty will be turning 7 in a couple of weeks and is so much fun (although she is going trough a bit of an onery phase trying to figure out that life is "NOT FARE") Those are her favorite words right now:)

She's in 1st grade and is doing great! She joined a hip hop club during recess at school. So during recess this little group gathers and does hip hop moves (I love it!) It's mostly boys, I think there's Ty and one other girl in the "club".
So t-ball is about to start, which has always been her favorite, but she surprised me this year and told me she wants to take hip hop instead of t-ball. I was SO excited! I would MUCH rather watch hip hop:) Here she is ready for hip hop and in her class....

Practicing some moves

Dave took Ty snowboarding for the first time!
He said she did great, but that it was the coldest windiest
day ever!
Ty said she loved it and can't wait to go again.

BRRRRRR..... Poor thing!
She was a great sport and didn't complain.
Tyler had a contest going on at school to take
a picture of a pet reading.
This is what she came up with:)
Meeka's SUCH a good sport!

Madix Update

Madix is 5 1/2 and this is whats going on with her right now......
This girl had her top front tooth really loose for months. It was just hanging there forever and would not come out. So finally Dave was sick of it and told her it's coming out. She cried "noooooo", but Dave was determined to finally get it out. So kicking and screaming he pinned her down and yanked it out. (I couldn't watch). She cried for a second and then was excited for the Tooth Fairy to come.

The Tooth Fairy left $10!!  Tooth Fairy was extra generous with this one because she had to go through a lot to get it out:)

Then about a week later she was having a tickle fight (Dave
and the girls have these every couple nights) and
she bonked her other front tooth and it just popped out.
I LOVE LOVE this toothless smile!!
(I don't want her front teeth to ever grow back, but I guess that would look funny when she's 16)

My little dancer.
She started dance about a month
ago and loves it!

Hanna was in town and got to take her first class with her.

Madix is also my little mommy.  Not only does she
always take care of Tayte she has taken on Nixon too.
She loves to play and take care of him.
SUCH a GOOD big sister!!

Playing with Tayte and wanted Nixon to play too.

She is also an amazing reader!  She has always
loved books.  They just started an online reading
program for school and she can't get enough.
The first day she read at least 20 books.

LOVE MY MADI KAI !!

Fun in the SNOW

We went up to Flagstaff New Years Eve.  Stayed
in a hotel and went sledding the next day.
Outside our hotel.  The minute we got to our room
the girls could not wait to put on their snow cloths and
go out and play in the snow.
I believe this is the first time Tayte has ever seen
snow.  She LOVED it!

All cozied up in bed watching their movie
And this poor little guy had to sleep in the bathtub.
He didn't seem to mind:)

New Years morning.  Brushing teeth then going swimming
before we go sledding.

Snow Angels

She LOVED trying to build
a snowman.

Hanna and Madix
These 2 were the BEST.  They did not stop once.
They would ride down together, fill their sled up with snow,
carry it up the hill, then ride down together.  They did this
nonstop for 3 hours.  SOOO cute!!

I'm so glad we got to go sledding with
Tami's fam.  We all had a blast!

Ty and Nolan

And this little guy was a trooper.  Hardly heard
a peep from him all day.

I love that we can drive 2 hours to play in the snow but don't have to live in it.
It was a super fun day, but two days of bundling 4 kids up every time we go out is enough:)
