Swim Lessons

It's swim lesson time! Oh, I was so nervous the first day. I thought the water would be freezing for them and was so scared for Madix, I thought for sure she would throw HUGE fits.
I was pleasantly surprised. Since she kept a cover on her pool it wasn't cold at all, and Madix handled it all WAY better than I thought.

Before swim, they din't know what was about to happen to them.

Bonnie took Madix (21 months) right out, dunked her then dropped her in the water to swim to the side all by herself. It really is so amazing. She had to guide Madix a bit the first one or two times, then after that she would totally do it all by herself. Yes, she still goes really slow trying to get to the side and I'm clenching my teeth and am so nervous for the whole 10 seconds or so, that's she's under water, but she makes it everytime. I'm so proud of her for doing so good. Bonnie even dropped her off the diving board today and she made it to the side all by herself.

clinging to the side, she made it.

Mads, and cousin Brax. Braxton didn't even want to be close to the water.

After Bonnie's done with their turn she sticks them in a tube. I think Madix is in shock with what she just went through, cause she won't move and just sit there for a minute. Then after that she wants out.

So she ends up sitting by me outside the pool until her turn again.

Tyler's doing awesome and is loving it, and is talking "Miss Barny's" ear off. Yes, she insists on calling Bonnie "Miss Barny"

I didn't get a good pic. of this, but she's jumping off the diving board and swimming to the side really good.

This is called a bomb. Bonnie tossed them way up and drops them.

"AHHHHHHH all done"

Last Reminder: I'm going private, hopefully this weekend if I get around to it. So if you haven't left me your email and want an invite, last chance.

GOING PRIVATE!

Yes, I am joining the "private" club. I've been putting it off for so long cause I just don't want to, but Dave just saw ANOTHER special on internet predators and is pretty insistent that I make my blog private. So here I go.
Leave a comment if you want to be invited. Even if you're a "blog stalker" as my friend Erin calls it, one who always looks but never leaves comments, don't be afraid to leave your name. As long as I know you I would love to invite you.
So you can either email me kimberschaub@hotmail.com, or leave a comment with your email and when I get it I will delete it, so the world won't have your email.
Thanks

Lots of Easter Pictures!

We had a wonderful Easter! The girls are at such a fun age and we all enjoyed the whole day so much. Here is our Easter pretty much play by play in pictures- enjoy.

Painting the eggs

My and Dave's one egg

We hid their Easter baskets in the house for them to find and yup Ty was up at 6:30 down stairs looking for her basket. It was in the shower in the bathroom:)

All Tyler wanted from the Easter Bunny was a golf ball-??-strange, but she was so excited when she found a golf ball in her basket

I think Mads ate some chocolate

Ready to go outside and find all the eggs. We hid 60 eggs and they were so good at finding them.

Mads would just walk liesurely around with her basket and pick up eggs

While Ty left her basket in one place and ran frantically all over the yard picking up as many eggs as she could hold in her hands.

The Easter Bunny even put some eggs in the pool!

Then Dave made us his specialty breakfast. We call it Dave's Greek Delight. Fried rice, with fried eggs, tomatos, avacodo, greek olives, feta cheese and some red devil hot sauce. I have to admit it's pretty dang good.

My beautiful Ty, ready for church

They got this jewelry in their baskets and I can't believe they kept it on All day.

And my adorable little Mads all Easter decked out

Me and my girls

Dave and Ty

Let's take a little picture break and tell a quick story.
Dave: "Ty, what is Easter really about?"
Ty: "Jesus died"
Dave: "and then what happened?"
Ty: "I don't know"
Dave: "He came back to life, it's called resurrection"
Ty: "Yah and then Jesus came down and gave the Easter Bunny a big high five!"

At my parents house for another Easter egg hunt. Thalia helping Tyler

Mads and cousin Braxton

This is the best family picture we could come up with

And this is the best cousins picture we could get

Happy Easter Weekend!

I hope everyone has a very Happy Easter Weekend!!
I know I'll be finding lots of eggs, and eating lots of candy, and enjoying time with my beautiful family.

Most important on Easter Day I'll be so thankful for the knowledge that Jesus Christ was resurrected. He lives today and I know He is always with us.
