Tayte 18 months

I can't believe my baby is 18 months. That means she's 1 1/2 yrs old. That means she's almost not a baby any more. NOOOO, I don't want her to get any older, I want to freeze her just like this!!
At 18 months:
She is super fun and cute but is very stubborn. She is content with the few words she can say, mostly it's just "MOM!" all day long. She doesn't say "no", but she definently know how to shake her head NO if she doesn't want something. She can do a lot of animal noises if she feels like it, and talks all the time, just in her own language. But that's OK, I'm not in any hurry.
She loves to:
-watch Barney or Wiggles (those are her favorites at the moment)
-jump on the trampoline (she can hold her own pretty good jumping with the big girls)-bobs her head and "tries" to sing along in the car with Madix
- read books (she always has about 5 books in her crib and she is so good at waking up and just reading her books till we come and get her)
-puzzles (she can put them back in the right spot she just needs to learn to turn them the right way)
-color (whenever her sisters are coloring at the table she gets out her little coloring book and crayons and trys to color too)
-listen to my ipod, she loves to walk around with my ipod to her hear
-wearing goggles, she LOVES to wear these goggles and walk around- nerd
-gives hugs and kisses, she's so good at giving hugs and kisses, even when she leaves the gym she runs and gives the leaders hugs and kisses. Whenever I fake cry she runs over and gives me a hug. So when I need to change her diaper and she doesn't want to I fake cry and she runs over to give me a hug and I got her:)

Their new winter boots. She LOVES her older sisters and is always trying to do what they do and they LOVE her and are so cute with her!

I LOVE MY TAYTERS!!

Madie Kai 4 1/2

Some things Madix is doing at almost 4 1/2 yrs old.
She rides her bike to preschool every Tues. and Thurs. and her best little friend at preschool is Camron. Mads does not have a hard time making friends, she plays so good with anyone. Her very best friend is Hanna, then her best friend across the street is Kalissa and her other best friend Lilly.

Madix is the easiest kid when she's by herself cause she entertains and plays by herself SOOO good. She will play make believe with all her dolls for hours. She's so funny though, if I'm in the same room as her she always says, "mom don't listen to me", or if she's reading books, "mom don't listen to me" or if she's in the car, "mom don't listen to me". I say "OK" everytime and she'll go about singing or playing as if it really works and all the sudden I can't hear her:) She LOVES to sing and knows almost every song that comes on the radio.

She has watched Tyler learn to read and sound out her words and has totally picked it up. She can totally sound out and read easy books. Very impressive. She is very smart, she told Dave the other night that Shamu is an Orca. (we never told her that)

I love it when they learn to draw pictures. The people never have bodies just arms and legs coming out of their heads, but so cute.

She is such a sweet girl, she still fights with her sister, can be very stubborn and whiney but for the most part is an excellent kid and we love our Madie Kai!!

HALLOWEEN 2011

So way back from last halloween Tyler has been saying she wants to be a mummy this year. Don't know where that girl gets her ideas but she was set on it. And as you have probably noticed I am a little obsessive about matching my girls, which meant they all had to match a mummy some how. Madix did NOT want to be a mummy, she only wanted to be some sort of princess. So finally we agreed on a "mummy princess" and she was happy with it. And then we have Tayte our "mummy baby". They loved putting all the makeup on and had so much fun.
TRUNK OR TREAT

Tayte's first real experience with this whole "hold out your bucket and strangers will put candy in it" thing. She was so mesmerized by it. She wouldn't get too close to them, so they usually had to come to her and put candy in her bucket. Then she would just stand there and stare in her bucket like "what's going on?" Then I would have to move her along to the next person and she would do the same thing and just stand there and stare in her bucket:) So cute. I LOVE this age of "figuring out" everything.

She did NOT want to walk past this witch.
Madix is ready to sit in the car and look at all her candy.

PUMPKIN CARVING!!
It's so funny if you watch all their facial expressions. Ty was all about it and totally excited, Tayte didn't know what to think, and Madix wanted NOTHING to do with touching the inside of that pumkin:)

Then they each drew a face on it, but Madix did NOT want her face cut out, so Dave just cut out Ty's face.

HALLOWEEN NIGHT!
We had a few friends over for pizza then went trick or treating around our neighborhood.

My white trash sister n law Amanda with baby B
Tayte carried around the same piece of pizza all night, would not let me take it away. Every now and then she would take a bite:) She LOVED trick or treating!

"The group" in front of the ghost busters car.

Tayte was so excited about her suckers
Uncle Mikey showing the kids the "right" (white trash) way to sort their candy.

It was a GREAT Halloween. Until next year......
