Another day on the beach, Ty running in the waves.
Going on a walk with Grandpa.
Playing in the sand with cousin Braxton.
Uncle Kyle dug a nice little swimming pool for them to play in. He just had to keep diggin cuz it just kept getting washed out.
Dad burried Ty and Mads. Madix cracks us up. We told her "DON'T MOVE!" So she struck a pose and literally did not move for a couple minutes!
Here she is still "not moving"
Mads and Brax are best buddies and played so good together.
My 2 bathing beauty's.
Playing in the closet.
I love this picture! These 2 can be the best of friends and just hang together so good "sometimes".
Dave taking Ty boogie bording. She never really "wants" to go, but she does good and likes it afterwords.
She's gonna be our little surfer chick, just wait another year or 2 and Dave will have her on a surfboard.
Me and my Mads
It was fun to have my sister Kacey and fam there for a few days.
So.... Thurs. was our planned day to go to Disney Land and from the very begining the day didn't start out good. Mads fell (like she ALWAYS does) but I think she must have hit her head pretty good. So she was whining all morning. We get in the car she's still whining and crying a bit. We stop and get her some medicine and depate whether just to go home, but decided we already got everything ready and are on our way lets just go. Mads still crying "hold you, hold you", so I climb in the back and get her out of her car seat and she layed right down on me and fell asleep. (thinking, good she'll get a nice little nap in before we get to Disney Land (an hour drive)). We pull into the parking lot, Madix sits up on my lap, looks at me and it came PORING out! Yes puke EVERYWHERE!! She stopped for a sec, then a whole nother round, tons of it ALL over ME! Yes, I'm SOAKED with puke!! Dave FINALLY finds a place to pull over we all get out, do out best to clean up, then drive home:( So sad, and Ty sitting next to me not only almost puked just watching it but was so sad to not being going to Disney Land. Luckily we had an extra day to spare and went Fri. Pic is Madix stripped of all her pukey cloths, even though I got most of it.
Dave "trying" to clean out the puke that was everywhere.
Yay, we made it to Disney Land!! The girls were SOOOOO excited, Tyler could hardly stand it on the shuddle over.
They loved, loved seeing all the characters!
This was sooo random! We totally ran into Dave's sister who lives in Oregon and we had no clue she was even in California! What are the chances of us seeing her at Disney Land. The girls loved hanging out with them for a bit.
Riding the elephant. There were very few rides Tyler wasn't scared of. Any ride that was on tracks and went into the dark she was so scared of (Peter Pan, Mr. Toad, Alice, almost all of them) Mads wasn't scared of anything.
Probably the highlight of the day was meeting Mickey.
It's A Small World, definately one of the favorites. They both sang along.
Can't go to D.L. without getting a big sucker.
"Try mine Mads"
We told them they could pick out any toy. All Tyler wanted was a goofy hat and a balloon, and all Mads wanted was a phone. Oh if life could be that simple.
Waiting for the parade. It was an awesome parade. Ty got a hug from Poo, got to dance with Woody and got to hold a drum for the drummer. She must have been the cutest one there:)
Sat. we had one last day on the beach. My 2 goofy's
Dave built a great sand castle. It became Dora's castle.
Playing in the waves
Me and Dave even got to go boogie boarding together, so fun! Look how whimpy we are with our wetsuits.
What a great trip! Ty has said everyday that she misses California. Can't wait till next year.
