Boating

Tyler's been on the boat before but this is the first time we took her to actually get in the water. So we left Madix home (thanks Tami), it's way to hot for a baby so we made this Tyler's day.

But as soon as the boat stopped it was hot hot hot and we had to jump in. She's so used to swimming in our pool, she didn't know what to think about swimming in the lake with a life jacket.

Okay Ty's turn on the tube. She was so excited talking about it but when she actually got on she wasn't quite sure. I don't know if she's covering her eyes or what. It was "okay" for her. She didn't love it but she didn't hate it either.


So let's try all the kids. She did NOT like this. Even though we were going SO SLOW she started crying to get on the boat.

I think she's ready for a nap. It was a fun day in the sun.
The latest with Tyler:
I don't know if it's a stage kids go through but she repeats EVERYTHING I say in a question form all day long. This was our conversation this morning.

Ty: "Mom do you want to play?"
Me: "I'm doing the dishes, in a little bit."
Ty: "You're doing the dishes? in a little bit?"
Me: "Yes"
Ty: "Yes?"
Me: "Yes"
Ty: "I gotta go potty"
Me: "Okay you can go, your a big girl."
Ty: "I'm a big girl?"
Me: "Yes"
Ty: "Yes?"
Me: "Yes"
Me: "Flush the toilet."
Ty: "Flush the toilte?"
Me: "Yes"
Ty: "Yes?"
Me: "Yes"
Me: "And wash your hands"
Ty: "Wash my hands?"
Me: "Yes"
Ty: "Yes?"
Me: "Yes"
Do you get the idea, this is how every conversation is all day long!
