Christmas 2012

We had a great Christmas Eve.  We all rode bikes to
the park for a picnic.  Then went and got Bahama Bucks
(yummy snow cones w ice-cream).  Then went to see the
Temple lights.  On the way to the Temple Dave read
the story of Jesus birth and showed them a video
of the true meaning of Christmas.
When we got home they each had to
open one present.  (I say had cause Tyler did NOT want to)
She wanted to save ALL hers for Christmas.  But it's tradition to get
books Christmas Eve for them to read/look at while trying to go to bed:)

They had to write a note to Santa saying sorry they got in a fight with each other that day.

Can you find Markle.  He wanted to be part of our family Christmas Card
for the last day.
Ty woke up at 6am Christmas morning and was sad she forgot to say bye
to Markle.  I told her he knew and to go back to bed for an hour
and she said ok:)

They each get one large present unwrapped.
Ty- big remote control car, Mads- a scooter,
Tayte- inchworm bike, Nixon- farm fun house

They all got fart noise makers and splat balls in
their stockings and totally would've been happy with those.
They just wanted to play with those instead of opening
all their presents.

Tyler wanted a "cool" shirt.  "like the mario ones at Walmart"
Funny kid.
She LOVES it, but we told her she can't wear it outside
the house:)

Tayte got a shirt that sings!

Their big gift this year was the wii.
They love "just dance" and I LOVE watching
all them do just dance:)

The finished product.  I tried to keep it tidy and
organized to begin with.

Performing "Silent Night" at my moms later that
day.  Mads and Tayte got princess dress up costumes
and Ty got a Ninja and LOVED it:)

Their pretty princess shoes.
What a wonderful Christmas.  We all got spoiled!
We were also blessed to be able to help others this Christmas.
We helped a family in New York who was affected by the hurricanes, and gave new toys to the toy drive in our ward.
And each Christmas we help a family in our ward who is need.
We always do a drop off at the door then run and take off.
This year they weren't home so we sent them a text, from a phone they wouldn't
know, to make sure they got the gifts.  This is the text we received back...

Thank you so much. At a time were we could not give, our kids still see the love from others. This is a true blessing.. We are very grateful from the bottom of our hearts. The church has opened up our eyes again...and has made us see how he can help us through the kindness/thoughtfulness of others. Prayers can be answered. The lord works in mysterious ways..as I dry my tears. :') Thank you Secret Santa and Merry Christmas. From our family to yours. Love, The Schwartz Family
It was so nice to get feed back (where usually we run and just never hear anything) and to be able
to read it to my kids and hopefully help them
understand more the true meaning of Christmas.
We are truly blessed as a family and are
SO thankful for the light and life of Christ in
our lives.
