We won 2 tickets to Disneyland so we decided to take the older girls for Tylers birthday. It was such a great trip and we had so much fun with Ty and Mads!
We drove up Sunday, got there around 1:00pm. Our hotel was just a block away from Disneyland so we decided to walk to downtown disney and walk around. We ate dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.
Then we went and saw Beauty and the Beast in 3D.
And looked around all the shops. Mads is sad below because she wanted this hat, but Dave was determined to get the girls "cute, cool" hats. Especially to replace Ty's blue mickey hat that Dave hates (later pics).
Then back to our hotel room. The girls packed their own bags and this is some of what they brought. The most random stuff. I love that Tyler brought her big CTR laminated necklace. Kids are funny, I love it.
Dave coloring with Ty. So nice to be in a hotel where he has nothing to do but sit around a color with his kids.
Monday morning, all ready and so excited to go to Disneyland!
On the little train ride. Both the girls with their cameras taking pictures of random things. Mads was done really fast with her camera, but Ty had her camera out all day. I think she's gonna be a photographer. And there's her favorite blue hat that she insists on wearing that Dave can't stand.
In front of the Haunted Mansion. They did NOT want to go on this ride but we prepared them before hand that they had to try it. So they both wanted to do it first and get it over with. They LOVED it! Mads wanted to do it again.
Going on Splash Mountain. I love Ty's face, she was so excited, and Mads not so much. She hid under my jacket the whole time.
Eating yummy pickles. One of the best things about Disneyland is the food, and we had it ALL. Pickles, dole whipped float and pinapple spears, churros, popcorn, BIG GREASY corndogs, pizza and mickey mouse icecream!
4 months pregnant, my belly is definently starting to stick out.
And ofcourse they always get their suckers at the end of the day and sit to watch the parade. Tyler was done after about 5 licks. Madix couldn't get enough of her sucker.
And ofcourse, Madix doesn't each much without getting it all over her face.
The last ride of they day. They couldn't stand anymore. This was the longest line for Star Tours, but so glad we did it. It was all ours favorites.
Then Tues. morning we got up and went out to the hot tub. It was a little chilly outside but the water was HOT. In their cute new bathing suits.
Then we walked back to downtown disney for lunch and one a little more shopping before heading home. Dave picked them out these cute hats. Way better than her blue one. And they both got cute new sanuk shoes.
And they drive home. They both did really good.
What a great trip!! They are at the perfect age for Disneyland, pretty easy to handle but still young enough to get so excited and are so cute!!
And a HUGE shout out and THANKS to Amanda and Mike for coming and staying with Tayte for 3 days. It was SOOOO nice not having to deal with a baby. I was feeling guilty that morning leaving her, but after hearing all the fun stuff Amanda had planned and how good she did I felt much better. Amanda had all kind of crafts and projects and activities planned out. What a great Aunt and Uncle they are!
