Christmas 2011!

We had a wonderful Christmas, besides Dave getting the stomache flu Christmas Eve! Poor guy! We spent Christmas Eve night at my parents with Mike and Amanda. We ate yummy Mexican food, went and looked at cool Christmas light, kids opened up jammies, then got ready for Santa to come.
Opening up jammies, wohoo!

This is the best Sant. It sings and dances. Tayte won't get close to it but from afar she liked to dance with it.

Ty's teacher gave them reindeer food and glitter to sprinkle on our grass so the reindeer could find our house. So she was all excited to put it all out. The next morning she went to check on it and said "it was moist so the reindeer must have been licking it" :)

Christmas Morning!

Ty's favorite toy was probably her remote control car. Cousin Brax got one too and they played with them all day.

And ofcourse Mads favorite were all her little princesses. She went in my moms room by herself and played with them for hours!

This is our little "elf on the shelf", they named him Markle. Every night in Dec. he flew home to the North Pole to tell Santa if the girls were good or bad then they would have to find him the next morning. They weren't aloud to touch him or he would loose his powers to fly home to Santa. This is the last night before he flew home for the year so I let them hold him for a picture. They LOVED Markle! (It was fun except for the night I woke up in the middle of the night and remembered I needed to move Markle:)

Tayters loved her cookie monster she got.
And Mads favorite present- her doll house! SO COOL, she plays with it all the time!
Merry Christmas till next year!

Week Before Christmas

Back to blogging. I've been lazy this last week, but time to catch up. Here are our activities the week before Christmas.
Tyler's school did a Christmas program. The first group was just the kindergarteners. It was SUPER cute. They had actions to all the words. They sang "Rudolph", "Away in a Manger", "Up on the Housetop" and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas". I LOVE this Charter school she's going to and that they will actually do a "Chirstmas" program and sing "Away in a Manger". All the public schools won't even sing Christmas songs.

Gigi and Grandpa and Uncle Mike and Aunt Amanda and Beck's came to watch. Then we all went to get burgers at Red Robin.

We LOVED the few rainy days we got the week before Christmas. Madix was all ready to walk to preschool in her rainboots and umbrella.

Tayter's playing so cute with her little doll and crib.

The day before Chirstmas Eve we finally went to see Santa. Ty asked for an easy bake oven and Madix asked for a big doll house. Tayte wanted absolutetly nothing to do with him!

All ready for Christmas now..... coming up next post.

Decorating the Tree

Always fun getting the Christmas stuff out. The kids LOVE decorating the tree and looking at all our ornaments.

We had cousin Beckahm over one day so they could go out for Mike's bday and Mads was the BEST little babysitter. She played and entertained him the whole time and he LOVES her!

Tayte giving him a smooch.

HOORAY FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!
