Painting our toes for the beach, all 30 toes.
Our first day on the beach. The girls loved playing in the sand, but not so much the water. Tyler actually ran out in the water the first day and was playing until a wave crashed her down and that did it. The rest of the trip she freaked out if we made her go close to the water, and as you will see we did MAKE her.
How about a little bit of sand on the face. And splattered with mud. She didn't seem to mind, just kept playing.
Then Tyler just wanted to lay her face in the sand. So then Madix decided to help her and put more sand ontop of her.
So by the end of the day, do we wash them off and make them scream and put them in their seats all wet, or just stick them in all sandy. (we did the latter and their seats and my car is a sandbox)
We loved our morning walks on the boardwalk
Tyler, we have come to find out is quite the runner, she would run the whole way (about a mile)
Our day at Legoland. It was fun but Mads was too small to ride most the rides so she got bored.
So Dave MADE her try boogie boarding and she was quite the trooper. Dave would put her on and push her into the wave, she would ride the wave and everytime as soon as she could get her feet on the ground she would run as fast as she could towards the beach! Dave would run and get her and did it 3 or 4 times.
I tried to get her to play in the water too and she just wanted to run up to the beach.
Bye to California. We had a wonderful time and didn't want to come home, but back to reality and all the heaps and heaps of laundry and unpacking.
