Tayters Is 9 Months!

My Tayters is 9 months old. She hasn't done too many new things this month. And really, I'm not gonna sugar coat it, this last month has been a tough month with her. She was sick the first part and then just became SUPER needy. She's a big mamas girl, so if I'm around at all and I'm not holding her she cries. So this has been kinda a hard month. With 3 at home and a needy baby, it might have convinced me that I'm done with kids:) (Ty and Mads are actually really good most the time).
Here's some pics of her at 9 months old.

She can be a big nerd!

She LOVES her sisters. They have saved me. Like I said before Tyler entertains her a lot. Ty "carried" her into the living room, sat her down and starting running circles around her and Tayte just laughed and laughed and laughed at her!

Mads loves to play with her too!

She LOVES to be standing. She didn't learn to crawl till just 2 days ago, but she would so much prefer to be standing.

Yep and just started pulling herself up in her crib! The problem is, I don't think she knows how to sit down after she's up. So she only lasts like this for so long and then gets really mad.

And YES, FINALLY crawling! Just started 2 days ago (so 9 mos and 2 days old). She still is really wabbly and goes really slow. It's SO cute! Hopefully this will make her a little happier and not so needy if she can get around more.

My Tayters at 9 months!! Your a stinker right now, but CUTE as can be and I love you to death!

MY VALENTINES!

I am incredibly lucky to have one HOT Guy and 3 ADORABLE little girls for my Valentines!

Since Ty's bday is on Valentines we always celebrate "our" Valentines the weekend before and Dave planned out an AWESOME date for us. We went to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, the BEST fillet EVER. We were cutting it with a fork thats how tender it was. Then he totally surprised me and took me to Sarah McLachlan Concert. It was an AMAZING concert! I Love her songs and she sounded EXACTLY the same live. What incredible talent she has and an amazing band and back up singers who sang their own songs also. I used to listen to her a lot when me and Dave were on the "on and off" of dating. So it totally reminded me of Dave and our dating years. Also the song "In The Arms of an Angel" is on our wedding cd and when Tyler was a baby whenever she started crying in the car we would put that song on and without fail she would stop crying! EVERY time! So that is now Tyler's baby song too.
Thanks babe, it was an awesome Valentines Date!

And speaking of concerts, Dave wants me to make sure I document all the nice places and things he takes me to do. So the next picture is us at the Jack Johnson concert he took me to for my bday. Another AMAZING concert! Good job babe at picking out 2 concerts I really really enjoyed.

Ty Is 5!!

This is quite the post because Tyler is quite an incredible little girl.
Wow, my baby girl is 5! I was just looking at her yesterday sadly realizing that she is really growing up. 5 is when they go away to school (meaning kindergarten) and is really just a kid now. No longer a cute little toddler. I have LOVED my years home with Ty and while I am sad she is growing up and will be going to school I know there's so much to look forward to with Tyler!
Here's a little look back-
Baby Ty Ty

My Big 5 YR Old

There's so much to say about Ty at this point in her life I don't know where to start.
-She is an AMAZING big sister. So many times I'll be trying to make dinner while Tayte is fussing and I'll tell Tyler to go babysit Tayte and she glady goes and plays with Tayte and keeps her happy as long as I need.
-She is definitely our peace maker and doer. If Madix doesn't pick up her share of the toys or doesn't do something she's supposed to, Tyler will often just do it for Madix to keep the peace.
-On the line of doer, she is so good at just doing things when I ask her. Madix I have to ask 5 or 10 times, but Ty usually just says "OK Mom" when I ask her to do something.
-She is VERY competitive and always wants to be the best, or fastest or done first at EVERYthing.
-Being so competitive I think motivates her to learn things. Yes, she was riding her bike with no training wheels at 4 (before all her friends and kids her age). She came to me one day and said "mom, I want to learn how to read". So I went and baught her some flashcards and showed her how to sound out the letters and she can totally figured it out and can read all the words. We were SO impressed.
-She is our "want to be" jokester. She LOVES telling jokes but most the time she tells them all wrong or tells really dumb jokes. (we baught her a joke book for her bday to help her out a bit)
-She's artsy. She loves to color, draw, and do art projects. She tells everyone she's a really good artist:)
-She is our little tomboy. She's so funny, all she wanted for her bday was a snake book, bakagons (these little balls that transform to bugs and monsters), and her cowboy hat.

-She's very sportsy. She loved soccer and I think we're gonna get her into tee ball next. She can really throw a ball.
-Ty is one in a million. Such a good kid and we are SO blessed to have her in our family!

A little more to tell about Ty- in this pic above, she keeps all her favorite things right by her bed. Some of it- her soccer trophy, remote control car, woody, butterfly she painted, cards she's gotten from gigi, her favorite animal a little giraffe, a flashlight, a card from when she was a baby, her bakagons, a tupperwear with sillybands in them and I'm sure a lot more random things. And she still sleeps with her froggy.
I LOVE YOU TY, YOUR THE BEST!!

Ty's birthday party. I tried to convince her otherwise but she insisted on having a spongebob party. So here it is...

Helping put candles on the cake

All ready for the party to start!

All she wanted for her party was a bouncehouse with a slide.

Opening presents. Most the kids knew she doesn't like girly stuff, but she did get one princess book. Luckily she didn't say anything when she opened it, but after her party she told me "mom, I hate princesses".

Then on to her spongebob pinata.

And then The Cake.

No cake for Tayters, just baba.

Me and Tami totally wanted a go at the bounce house.

And Dave got all into the bounce house too, the kids loved it.

The party was a hit, now on to playing with all her fun stuff. All her bakagons.

She loves them!

And she got a remote control boat to drive in our pool. It's pretty cool!

Her cowboy hat and snake book were her other favorite presents.

Just reading her snake book:)

Funny kid! She had a GREAT birthday! We Love You Ty!!
