Christmas 2010

We headed up to St. George this Christmas to be with my sister and her fam.
The first morning there Dave got up and made everyone his wonderful greek breakfast.

My mom and sister Melanie holding Tayte

It's dumb I didn't get any good pictures of me with my sister, these are the only 2 I got. This is us doing some tricks.

Christmas Eve, all the kids sitting down listening to Grandpa read the story of Jesus's birth.

Then time to eat the ginger bread house. Melanie's twins, Tyson and Becker.

Not sure how good that could be, sitting out for who knows how long. But I guess when it comes to candy kids don't care.

Stockings are stuffed

Presents all out. We are ready!

Christmas morning!

Ty is all about spongebob.

We all got up about 6:30, Tayte decided to get up about an hour later.

The girls both got cool leather jackets and pink cowboy boots

Ty's big present was her skates. She didn't want to try them there, so we'll go out and practice soon.

Merry Christmas Tayters!

I tried to get a pic of all 3 girls in their jammies but Tayte was not having it.

Mads big present was her minnie mouse scooter. She loved it and rode it all over the house all day. She would ride it to go to the bathroom, then back to the kitchen:0

And did not want to take off her helmet even to eat breakfast.

we got a balloon kit with different kinds of balloons and Dave made this dog with no instructions or anything. I was very impressed, did not know he had a balloon making talent. He was the kids favorite person and was making animals forever.

It was a LONG day for Mads. I don't think I have EVER seen her fall asleep before 9pm and not in her bed. Good job Gigi.

She must have the touch. Tayte was tuckered out it. It was a wonderful Christmas Day!

Tayte 7 Months Old Today

Tayte is 7 months old today. That sounds so much older than 6 months, I guess cause she's closer to one now. Wow, almost one!

She really isn't doing anything new this months. Still just happy and content to sit or lay on her back, doesn't really even try to roll.
She has gotten a lot of teeth this month! 3 new ones on the top! Look at that face below:) She never does that but must have known I was trying to get a picture of her teeth, so funny.

She LOVES her yellow bee blankie. She ALWAYS has it in her arms when she sleeps.

This last weekend we had all our family Christmas parties. Riding side Saturday night, immediate family Sunday night and Schaub side Mon. night. Here they are in their Christmas party outfits.

Kacey's baby Jace, he is ALL smiles. Tayte didn't know what to think of Kacey being silly.

They asked if anyone wanted to get up and sing, and to my surprise my girls did. And Braxton joined them singing jingle bells. They did really good!

It was pinata year, both our big family parties had them. Always a hit with the kids.

waiting patiently for it to break so they can get the candy

Tayte just cuddling with dad, watching all the fun.

Only 5 days till Christmas, they LOVE opening the Calendar every day then counting how many days are left.

They each got one early toy from my parents at our family party. The perfect toy for Mads, another doll, but this one has all the stuff. Highchair, swing, stroller, crib. She played with it all day.

Ty's been wanting this moon dough thing forever, and loved it.

And little Tayters toy.

Hope everyone has a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Spankin New Boat

My dad bought a really cool Malibu wakesetter boat about 3 years ago and we have had problem after problem after problem with is. So Dave being the main person dealing with it all was finally sick of it and got them to trade the old one in for a brand new 2011 boat.

They just got it in last week so Dave had to take it and try it out. Dave squeezing into his wetsuit. It was about 65 degrees last Sat. (Ty holding the flag for him)

Still got it.

He was pretty happy with this SWEET boat.

Look at Ty

Look who's riding their bike with NO training wheels!! At 4 years old.

She did awesome learning. It only took her about 2-3 days to totally get it down.

She tries to make a U turn back onto the sidewalk from the street and ran into this tree about 3 or 4 times

Or in into this bush. Good thing she was wearing a helmet cause she had a couple bad wipeouts. But always got right back up and back on her bike to do it again.

She's been riding it for about 2 weeks and is a pro now. She LOVES it. She's asking for skates for Christmas, so we'll see how she does with those. On to the next thing.

The girls had their little preschool Christmas program this week and it was so cute. Madix was a Wiseman and Ty was the Inn Keeper.

They each had to stand and say a part. It was a pretty long part telling what the Holly Leaf represents and Madix did SO good saying it all by herself.

Tyler told what the Angel represents and she did SO good also. They were all SO dang cute!

We got Tayte's stocking all done. Thanks Mom, they look great! Wow, with another stocking our family is getting so big:)
