Thanksgiving 2010

We are SO incredibly blessed in everyway that I can't even express my gratitude enough. But most of all I'm SO thankful for my wonderful husband who works so hard to provide a good living for our family. A husband who comes home from a long day of work (usually 12 hrs) and still has the energy to take time to play with his kids and then give me a back massage almost every night. And also I'm most thankful for my 3 healthy and incredibly beautiful girls.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. We had Thanksgiving meal at my Uncle Clarence and Aunt Kelly's house with the Schaub side. There were about 80 people there, there were a lot missing. Then that night we took the kids to see Tangled. It will definently be one to buy, really cute.
It was so fun to have Dave's sister Amanda and husband Mike join us this year.

Tayte's first Thanksgiving and first roll. She LOVED it! She was so happy for about 30 minutes just sucking on that thing.

Friday morning me and Dave got up early and went out to conquer the black Friday crowd. We did pretty good and got all the girls shopping done.
Then Friday night went to Glendale Glitters. A great outdoor Christmas festivity.

They had a bunch of bounce houses and slides the girls LOVED.

In front of the big Christmas tree.

Blurry, but we got a yummy chocolate covered cheesecake

And Dave's Mexican hotdog. He said it was the best hotdog he's ever had. It had like cucumbers, avocados, salsa and who knows what else.

Then Sat. morning it was time to decorate for Christmas. The girls had been waiting for this day. They were sooo excited to pull out all the Christmas stuff from the containers. And Tayte just had fun sitting and watching.

Ty and Mads LOVED decorating the tree and looking at all our fun ornaments

This mouse tells the night before christmas story. Tayte didn't know what to think.

And the stockings were hung. (we still need to make Tayte one, this week hopefully)

The final product

They are all ready for Christmas! Now it's the waiting that 3 and 4 year olds just don't quite understand. Madix asked me this morning if its Christmas tonight when it gets dark. Its gonna be a long month for them.

Tayte 6 months

Wow, I can't believe Tayte is 6 months old tomorrow. She's almost a year! Why can't we freeze them as babies?! She is just so dang cute and fun. She doesn't have her dr. apt for another week, so I'll give stats later.
What she's doing at 6 months:
She has 2 bottom teeth
Eats oatmeal and rice cereal and loves it
Takes 3 naps a day, sleeps 9-11am (when I'm home which is rarely), 1-3pm (all 3 girls go down, awwwwww), 5-7pm, gets up and eats then back to bed 8pm-7am
She loves watching baby sesame, she plays in her excersaucer and loves to watch her sisters be crazy
She's really good at holding her own bottle. I love when they can do this, frees up so much time for me.

I love how she ALWAYS holds her legs up. Look at those chubo thighs! I LOVE it! She also has the most beautiful lips and mouth. (which will make up for my droopy eyelids she got)

She is STILL not rolling but she can sit! (little backwords but I'm sure the rolling will come)

She sits for about a minute then usually tips over

Playing Mr. Potato Head with Mads

First bike ride. She loved it, and Mads took good care of her.

She LOVES sharing dads popsicles. They have one almost every night.

She's just started banging on things with her hand. So she bangs on the little piano perfectly

Happy 6 months baby!

Things to Remember

Last week I took the girls to get flu shots. I told Tyler earlier that day that after naps we have to go get flu shots and that she needs to be a good example and be brave for Madix. And right then she started crying and begging me not to take her:( (so sad) But I went on to explain how it's better to get one little shot then to get really sick and have to go to the hospital and get lots of shots. She didn't care, just kept crying that she did not want to get a shot.
So fast forward we're in the car driving to the Dr. and I hear Madix telling Tyler "it's ok, it's better to get one shot know than have to get a lot later" (I didn't even know Madix was listening to me earlier) Then Ty: "can Madix go first?" Mads: "I'll go first, I'm not aftraid. Well I'm a little afraid but I'll be brave"
It was so cute! Little sister being more brave and stepping up by going first with getting a shot. Way to go Mads!!

Then Tyler last Sunday we pick her up from class and she's hiding something from us. We get home and she goes right to her room and closes the door. Madix tried to go in but Ty insisted she needed to be by herself. So then she comes out and lays a smiley face on our bed in front of me and Dave and said go look in my room. She had made her and Madix's bed and put away all Madix's books and cleaned the room. - SERVICE- It made us so happy that she IS learning something in church (at age 4 in sunbeams) and most of all that she did it all by herself without us having to ask or prompt her at all. Way to go Ty!!

As much as they drive me crazy I LOVE these girls and want to remember the special things they do.

And this little chunkers is just staying as cute as can be with her big smiles and laughs. But still not rolling over or doing anything else, which is SO fine with me.

Halloween part 3 (and done)

I feel like these Halloween posts are dragging on kind of like I felt Halloween dragged on by the 3rd time getting the girls all dressed up I was ready for Halloween to be over, (like these posts:)
Sat. night was trunk or treat, our battery died right after we took a couple pics of them at the house (probably good thing).

Hallow Eve in their cute pj's

Halloween my parents came over, my mom put Ty's wig on Tayte:) so funny, then she puked, (guess she didn't like it)

The girls were so glad to have gigi there.

What everything had been leading up to, finally ready to go trick or treating.

With gigi and grandpa, they stayed and handed out candy while we took the girls around the neighborhood.

We drive by the "scary man" everyday and they couldn't wait to go trick or treating there. Then when we got there they were too scared to stand by him by themselves for a picture

I love this house on our street, they're always so festive for the holidays. But this ghostbusters car is not just for Halloween, he is an actual ghostbuster! and has it year round! Then while we were taking a picture with the car, batman just happened to pull up.

A lot of people went all out in our neighborhood, it was fun. Again the girls were too afraid to stand in front of the "scary house" by themselves so I had to go with them.

If the house had anykind of "scary" decorations the girls would not go up by themselves. This house looked ok to them. Trunk or treat was fun, but they LOVED trick or treating at houses, it's just a whole different experience.

Tayte had a blast trick or treating as you can see:)

She woke up the last stretch and was all smiles

Madix kept saying her pumkin was getting to heavy from all her candy and would make Dave hold it.

There is ALL her candy, you could see how that would be way to heavy for her to carry:)

Another fun Halloween done!
