When should I start worrying?

I have a major case of finger suckers. Not thumb, Tyler sucks her right pointer finger's knuckle and Madix sucks her left pointer and thumb together. Tyler's teeth are messed up from it and she has a big wart type bump on her finger from it.
So when do I need to worry about doing something about it and HOW?? She just turned 3 and I know binkies would be gone by now, so shouldn't finger sucking?

She mostly only does it when she's watching a movie and if she has her froggie. Do I take away her froggie? I don't have the heart to do that. She is so attached.

And in the car. If she's not talking, she's sucking.

RANDOM THINGS

Getting ready to go to dance. It's so hard for her to turn her feet out and put her hands on her hips. That's how uncoordinated she is right now. They're learning how to skip in class. I wish I had a video of Tyler trying to skip. It's the funniest thing, she's not even close, and everytime she tries to hop her tongue comes out.

she's a rockstar

It was such a beautiful day Sunday, we went up to Estrella Lake for a walk.
Watching the ducks.

I made a chocolate banana pie (oh my favorite), and the girls were so happy for about a half an hour just licking the bowl.

I wish I could say I made this sign, but I'm not crafty whatsoever, so I ordered it to hang in their bedroom. I think it turned out very cute.

This and That of March

Nothing that exciting has happened this month. We're just enjoying the beautiful spring weather. Here's what's been going on:

My girls have turned into dogs. This is their new favorite thing to do. Crawling around with their tongues out, barking. If I ask them to do something, I can't call them by their name I have to say "dog, will you do this". I was even at the grocery store yesterday when they both got down on their hands and knees in the frozen foods isle and just wanted to be dogs, and they would NOT walk.

Then Madix has started this new habbit of spitting, well trying, blowing really hard through her lips. (sorry about the cheese in her mouth)

I get so mad if Tyler EVER does that, but for some reason when Madix does it, it's so funny I just laugh. Is that wrong? She opens her mouth really wide, then blows really hard!

Just enjoying the nice weather, eating a snack.

My sister Melanie was in town all last week. Sat. night we had a sisters night. Went and got pedicures, then dinner and a movie. We saw Duplicity and I would not reccomend it. We all thought it was sooo stupid.

My sista's, Kacey and Melanie

Going to church. I could not get Madix to smile for the life of me.

Madix just started using a fork to eat and is doing so good at it.

She was so excited about it and ate every single bite with her fork. This is breakfast, thus the morning hair.

Tyler had to get in a picture too.

They love to sit outside and put their feet in the pool. It won't be long until they're all the way in.

Park day.

I love these little overalls.

If you were to get a pet

Okay, so I'm not a pet person and really only like animals from a distance (except for dolphins, I LOVE them, have swam with them and wish I could have one in our pool). Other than that we only have a dog cause Dave. And I have to say Meeka has become part of our family and the girls adore her and LOVE to climb all over her and play and if we HAVE to have a pet, she's the one to have.

But this is too funny, and only my brother would drive all the way to Georgia and spend big $ on a pure bread pot bellie pig for a pet. Yup, this isn't for outside on the farm, this is a pet that lives in their house in the city. They've potty trained her and say they can teach her tricks. We'll see. She was at my moms house for Ty's birthday and she just wandered around the whole time snorting. Literally she snorted for the whole 2 hrs. she was there sniffing the floor. She even tried to take a nibble on my toe.
So which would you rather have?

sweet,adorable, little Meeka

how can your resist this puppy face?

then there's Opie(and imagine her the same hieght but 50 pounds heavier!!)

the kids tried to hold her and she would sometimes let them and sometimes squeal

Madix did really like her

Redeeming Herself

So after the last post about Tyler, I think she knew she needed to redeem herself. Don't get me wrong, she still has her days but today I am very thankful for the sweet kid she is.
The easiest sick kid in the world. She woke up about 4am whining that her belly hurt. Dave took her into the bathroom and she threw up in the toilet. We layed her in bed with us with a bowl and about every half hour she would sit up and say "I need to throw up". We would hand her the bowl and she would throw up in the bowl, wipe her mouth with the towel and just lay down until next time. (me and Dave were so impressed) She has thrown up about 8 times this morning, everytime in the bowl and hasn't cried or whined once. (sweet kid). I was even busy with something and saw her walk over to her bowl, do her business, then go lay back down, all by herself.
And I thought today was gonna be a day with a crying sick kid and cleaning up throw up all day.

She even has a smile when she just threw up 5 min. prior to this picture.

Then she had to do one with a silly face.

This last weekend, she was so sweet playing with Mads. They sat here for about an hour and Tyler was showing her how to do the stamps and telling her what colors they were. It was so cute!

This little munchkin is 20 months old. I can't believe she's gonna be 2 in 4 mo's. Wow, I'm gonna have a 2 and a 3 yr. old. Mmmm, is it time for another one??
Mads is so funny and becoming so smart. She's talking tons and always adresses the person she's talking to. "no, mama", "hi, Ty Ty", "bye, da da". And just like Ty, she's a singer. Always sings along to Elmo or Dora. And she's so good at entertaining herself with toys. Finally. Not too long ago I was complaining she just whined at me all day and wanted me to hold her. She's gotten much easier- YAY!

Conclusion: There's some days that you want to kill(figure of speech) your kids, like yesterday when I was waiting for 2 hours to get a new tire put on w/ 2 crazies(aaaah, I wanted to kill myself, it was torture). And some days that they are just so dang sweet and cute you just can't believe how much you love a adore them. Like today.
